How do I remove the comments in the margins when using Grammarly?

When I save my paper, the comments/revision notes are still in the margins. How do I delete those?

Answer

Follow these instructions if you have installed the Grammarly Plug-In:

When you click on the Grammarly tab in Word, you are able to select the "Enable Grammarly" icon to turn "on" Grammarly and receive revision suggestions. To hide or turn "off" those suggestions in the margins, you need to “disable” grammarly on the document. Once Grammarly is turned "off", you can save the document.  You can always enable/turn on Grammarly again on the document if you make changes.

*Note* You must disable Grammarly BEFORE you save your document to ensure the Grammarly comments are not in the margins.

Follow these instructions if you have not installed the Grammarly plug-in:

Open your document in Word and click on the Review tab.  Click on the down arrow next to Simple Markup and select No Markup from the dropdown menu.  Grammarly comments will no longer be visible in the document.
