  1. Login to your NoodleTools Account.
  2. Create a project or use a pre-existing project.
  3. Click on the Sources tab.
  4. Click on + Create New Citation button.
  5. Select the Website tab.
  6. Choose Web Forum (Message Board) from the drop down menu.
  7. Answer the questions and then fill in the information required about the post.
    1. Use the title of the post in the Subject Line of Post section,
    2. Use the name of the student or instructor who wrote the post in the Author section
    3. Use the date the post was written in the Date of Post section
    4. Use the url in the URL of Forum/Group section
      1. Example:
    5. Use the name of the course and module of the discussion post in the Name of WebForum section
      1. Example: Introduction to Business: Module 5 discussion
  8. Click on "Generate Citation."
