I'm about to graduate college. What do I have to do with my student loans? How much do I have to pay? Who do I send my payments to?

Answer

First of all, Congratulations on Graduating!

Now let's get down to business...

You will need to complete Exit Counseling.  To do so, visit www.studentloans.gov.

You will also receive information from your loan service provider regarding loan repayment and options available to you.  If you have not already received information, you can find the name of your loan service provider, how much you owe and contact information by visiting https://www.nslds.ed.gov/nslds_SA/

To log in:
1.    Log into the system with your FSA ID (your secure username and password that you use to complete the FAFSA).  If you do not have an FSA ID or are not sure click on the “Create an FSA ID” tab.
2.    Once you are logged in click on “FA Review”.
3.    Click “Accept”.
4.    Your loans will be then be listed and you can select each loan to review information about the loan and the lender.

In addition, Rasmussen University has a Student Loan Management Team that can assist you if you have questions about setting up a repayment plan.  You can contact them at: 855-986-2255 or slm@Rasmussen.edu.
