How do I cite a pamphlet or brochure?

Because a pamphlet or brochure is a special type of publication, APA rules require a brief description in brackets following the title in the references list citation. See the examples for an electronic pamphlet and a print pamphlet on the left hand side of the table below. Also note that the source type will not be identified within the in-text citation itself, although you may mention it in your writing. Examples for in-text citations for pamphlets or brochures are located on the right hand side of the table below.
