Microsoft Teams: How do I pop out a chat into a separate window?

Answer

There may be times when you want a chat conversation to appear in a separate window as shown below.

To pop out a chat:

Select the chat conversation you want to pop out as a new window.
Select the ellipsis (...) next to the chat and then choose Pop out chat.
To return your chat to Teams, close the pop out window and open the conversation again from the chat list.
