Is there such a thing as an APA format for memos?

Answer

The Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, 7th edition, does not provide guidance on editing and formatting of memos.

For a memo, you will want to format it in a style that is easy to read. You might consider using one of Microsoft Word's memo templates. See our answer at http://rasmussen.libanswers.com/faq/32874 to learn more.

If you need to cite and reference a source in your memo, you should follow APA guidelines for creating and formatting references and in-text citations.
