How do I request an interlibrary loan for an article?

Answer

Some of our databases have an Interlibrary Loan or Request button that appears when the article in question is not available in full-text from the database. Watch the short video below for information on how to find the full-text of the article and if the full-text isn't available, how to request the article through Interlibrary Loan.

If there is no Interlibrary Loan button, then you can send an email to ill@rasmussen.libanswers.com. Provide the following information in your email:

  • Article Title
  • Article Authors
  • Date of Publication
  • Name of Journal it was published in
  • Volume, Issue, and page numbers
