How can I delete an assignment or discussion post once I've submitted or published it?

Answer

Unfortunately, you cannot delete a post or an assignment once you have submitted them to the online Discussion Forum, etc. in your online classes.  You can cancel the post before submitting it, but you do not have the functions to delete it once it has been submitted. 

If you are experiencing difficulties, please contact the Personal Support Center (866-693-2211) for their suggestions. Often, the PSC can go into a course and troubleshoot a problem for you.

  1. I haven't found a way to separate paragraphs on the discussion post! How can I get this to work? The only thing I've been able to do to separate them is to put some spaces on the line in between the paragraphs, but not enough to get to the next line or it then brings the last word to the next line and then it's messed up!

    Sara, Librarian Reply: This can be frustrating for sure! Try using the 'Enter' or 'Return' button on your keyboard to add in a paragraph break. If you're still having trouble, I suggest working with a tutor - they should be able to help you with discussion posts and formatting issues.
