When will I get my eTextbooks?

Answer

Electronic textbooks or eTextbooks from VitalSource are processed after you confirm your schedule and the Rasmussen University Bookstore processes your order. You will receive an auto-generated voucher email shortly after the order is generated. Your VitalSource eTextbooks will be "delivered" to you as soon as two weeks before the first day of the quarter. At that time you will receive an email from the Rasmussen University Bookstore with your access information and your password (aka student ID). If you do not confirm your schedule, you will not receive your eTextbook email or eTextbook(s).

eTextbooks textbooks from Thuze, F.A. Davis, Openstax, and FlatWorld are used in a variety of classes (list) and are available only from within your online class or via a link from your instructor. They will be accessible when your class opens (the first day of class).

D132 / B132 / CGS1240 Computer Applications and Business Systems Concepts has its own unique "textbook" or digital content that is part of the class itself.

Our College Algebra and Advanced Algebra feature embedded problems, lectures, and videos, but no eTextbook or textbook.

Finally, some classes still receive print textbooks as the default. If that is the case with your course, your print textbooks are shipped after you confirm your schedule. You will receive student email notification when your order is generated and you will also receive emails from UPS about delivery. If you do not confirm your schedule, you will not receive your books.
