I think I might want to become a nursing tutor. What do I need to know?

Answer

Interested in becoming a tutor with us?  Here are some of the benefits and basic requirements:

Content mastery:  When you tutor students in your subjects, you are solidifying your own knowledge for the NCLEX exam.  It’s a great way to ensure you’ve mastered your content!

Flexible hours:  You schedule your hours, and pay begins at $16/hour if you are eligible for the Work Study Program.

Paid training:  You will complete your training as you tutor students.  You also get to learn more about all of the resources Rasmussen has to offer students.

International tutoring certification:  When you meet the requirements for training, you will earn an International tutoring certification that does not expire.

Basic requirements:  Students interested in becoming a tutor must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA, have at least one quarter of experience with Rasmussen University, and have two or more quarters left before graduation.
