I am taking Astronomy and need to use Stellarium. What is that and where do I find it?

Answer

Stellarium is open source, web-based planetarium software that you can use to simulate a night sky in 3-D.

You can view a User Guide by clicking on the book icon in the upper right of the home page:

Download and save a copy of the PDF for your reference.  Go to chapter 2 in the Guide to find basic information to get you started using this tool.
