Almost everything you need for your course can be accessed by using the menu on the left-hand side of your screen.  Let's take some time to learn what each tab does!

Be sure to keep scrolling to the bottom of the page - you will find a very helpful video tutorial!

Course Home

Clicking Course Home will take you back to your course’s homepage no matter where you are in the course.  This is the main page of your course.  Here you will find important announcements from your instructor and other important information to be shared for the week.  Make sure to read through everything on your course’s home page each week for helpful tips, assignment changes, due date changes, etc.

Course Messages

Clicking Course Messages will take you to your course email.  You will be able to send and read messages from your instructor and classmates in that course.

My Grades

Clicking My Grades will take you to see your grades you have in the course.  It is important to check this weekly to make sure you are not missing any work and to keep track of your progress in the course.

Clicking Tools will take you to your course tools including your syllabus, course calendar, messages, grades, discussion boards, and more!

Clicking Syllabus will take you to your syllabus for the course.  The syllabus will have your instructor’s contact information including office hours, course expectations, eTextbook information, the grading scale, as well as important course policies.

Clicking eText will take you to your eTextbook bookshelf or will connect you with your digital materials.

Getting Started

Clicking Getting Started will direct you to important information about how to be successful in the course.  You may also find a module by module overview as well as other helpful tips to help you along your way.

Clicking Discussions will take you to the open discussion forums in the course.  Be sure to introduce yourself in the Student Lounge and ask any general questions in the General Course Questions forum.  You will also be able to access each module’s discussion forum from here.

Clicking Module 01 will take you to the first module of the course.  Here you will find your readings and assignments for the week.  You will work in a new module each week.

For example, if you are in week 2 of your courses, you will be working on Module 02 in your courses.

Course Materials

Clicking Course Materials will direct you to any additional materials you need for your course.  Do not forget to check here for important information.
