Q. Learn/Blackboard: How do I access tutoring?


Rasmussen students can connect with a tutor via our Tutoring Service.

The Tutoring Service offers three main areas of support: Live Help, Tutor Match, and the Writing Lab.  In addition to these three main areas of support, Study Tools are offered below.  

Main Support Areas:

Live Help

  • Professional tutors available to help in a variety of topics. Some, like algebra tutors, are available 24/7.

Tutor Match

  • Tutor Match is your connection to all Rasmussen College Peer tutors 
  • Rasmussen student tutors are available to meet online or on campus, where available. 
  • Select your topic and set up an online or face-to-face appointment with a Rasmussen tutor.

Study Tools:

Skill Surfer

  • Test preparation tests in a wide variety of areas (need help with NCLEX?)!
  • Career preparation help (need assistance with interviewing or your resumes?)
  • Computer software help (need help using Power Point?)


  • Use flash bulb to create, share, and use study aids like Flash Cards.


  • MEET allows you to study with others online. You can schedule meetings in the online classroom and invite others to join you to study for tests, do homework, or work on group projects. Just click on MEET to schedule a time and invite others.
