In Blackboard Ultra, how can I give a deduction for a late submission when using a rubric for grading?

Answer

To enter a late submission penalty for assignments that use the built-in Rubrics functionality, faculty should calculate the penalty outside of the LMS and then enter the adjusted score in the Grade Override field at the top of the inline grading tool as pictured below.
