Padlet is a tool that allows you to foster engagement by creating boards for displays. It can be helpful teaching tool in your classroom for group projects, brainstorming, gathering feedback, and other activities.

The free subscription allows you to create four Padlet boards.

 

Creating a Padlet Board

Click on the “Make a Padlet” button

 

Select what type of format you want your Padlet in.

 

Now personalize your Padlet by creating a title, description, and selecting the appearance.

 

After adjusting the Appearance, you will want to edit the Posting and enable Content Filtering as needed.

 

Click the Next button to finish your edits to your Padlet.

In the upper right-hand corner of your Padlet you can like, remake, share, and edit your Padlet.

 

Remake by selecting which elements you want to copy from existing board.

 

Share by selecting Privacy, how to Share, and also Export.

 

You can Modify your Padlet and you can select More options.

Embedding the Padlet Board in your course:

From your Padlet, select the SHARE feature.

 

Select the “Embed in your blog or your website.”

 

Next, copy the Full embed HTML code and click the COPY button.

 

From your Blackboard Learn Course

Select the “Page Banner” from the dropdown on your course home title.

 

Select the HTML button and paste (ctrl V) the code into the HTML code view window.

 

Click the Update button and then the Submit button and your Padlet board will be posted in your banner as shown below:
