How do I create an HTML announcement in my course?

Did you know you have the ability to create an HTML announcement in your courses?

Step 1: Locate the HTML code of the announcement you wish to embed.  Typically, these are shared in an email to you.

Step 2: Insert embed code into Blackboard Learn (announcement editor, discussion post, etc.)

  • In the Content Editor, click on the Insert/Edit code sample button 

  • Paste the HTML code (Press Ctrl V to paste) and click save.

  • Click update to add the announcement.  You should see the picture appear in the text box for the new announcement. 

Step 3: Click submit to post your new announcement.

How can I find my course textbook?

You can expect a prompt response, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM Central Time (by the next business day on weekends and *holidays).

Questions may be answered by a Librarian, Learning Services Coordinator, Instructor, or Tutor.
