How can I use flashcards most effectively?

Answer

You've created a set of flashcards--now what?

First, your flashcards should be self-created.  Finding a preexisting set can be nice, but the information will be more meaningful and stick better if you go through the process of creating your own.  If you're unsure how, check out this Answer on creating flashcards.

Consider integrating color coding to your flashcards.  Using color, or other distinctive ways of coding (such as with symbols) will create stronger ties to memory.
