What is the AHIMA Body of Knowledge?

Answer

AHIMA Body of Knowledge is a collection of articles from the American Health Information Management Association on the topics of Health Information Management and Health Information Technology. The Body of Knowledge provides access to practice briefs, position statements, job descriptions, government documents, articles from the Journal of AHIMA, and more. AHIMA is the professional association for Health Information Technology and Management. Its website supports students in the HIT and HIM programs at Rasmussen.

Full text of some items will be available online. If you are not an AHIMA student member and the item is not in the public Body of Knowledge, you can ask a librarian to request the item for you via interlibrary loan.

Once on the website, enter keywords in the box at the top of the page to search.
