How do I search an image? I have a picture, I want to know what it is!

Google Images allows you to upload a picture to get information about the image.

Click on the camera icon and either paste in the URL for the image or upload an image that you have saved in a file.

You have access to picture databases:

You can easily access these image databases through your online class!  Click on the Resources tab, click on the "Search eResources" link, scroll through the alphabetical database list and click on the title of the database you wish to search to link to it.

If you are using an image in your academic work, remember to cite it!  Consult the APA Guide for information about how to cite images in the APA style.
