If there is an eTextbook for your course, it is included in your tuition and course resources fee, and is paid by the College.
If you are getting a message that indicates you must buy/purchase your eBook before you can buy a print textbook, it may be that it is too early for you to order a print copy of your textbook.
Normally you need to both confirm your schedule and be fully enrolled in your course for the eTextbook purchase to "take." Normally the date for that is about 2 weeks before the start of the quarter if you confirmed your schedule close to the time it was released (3-4 weeks earlier).
What to do? Wait and try again closer to the start of the quarter.
If it is less than 1 week before quarter start, and you know you have confirmed your schedule, please contact the Personal Support Center.
