I need to find info about the perception of police by the media and public.

Answer

The Rasmussen University Online Library contains databases containing full-text articles from newspapers, journals, and ebooks that can be searched using keywords and are a wonderful place to start research on this topic.

Make a list of keywords before conducting your search.  Terms to consider may include:

police     "police officer"   "law enforcement"

"public perception"    perception     media     television     radio   "social media"

Use the "AND" connector to retrieve resources that contain two or more ideas or concepts in the same article.  For example, this search:

Police AND perception

will retrieve articles that contain both the word "police" and the word "perception" in the SAME article.

Databases to consider for this topic include:

TIP:  Consult the Database Help page of the School of Justice Studies Guide to view videos demonstrating database searches.
