To zip or compress a file, you can:

  1. Find the file or folder you want to zip on your computer (desktop, h drive, flash drive, etc.)
  2. Press and hold or right-click on the file or folder
  3. Select "send to"
  4. Select "Compressed (zipped) folder"

The process above will create the zip file in exactly the same directory as the original file. You can rename it by right-clicking the folder, then select "rename", then type the new name. You can add additional files to the zip folder by dragging and dropping. You can forward/attach that zip file as necessary.
