Reference Pattern:

Author. (date). Title. Location of publishing company: Name of publishing company. DOI if available.

Sample Reference:

Smith, J. (2012). Last pet in the woods: A second look. New York, NY: Random House.

Pets belong in the outdoors more often than commonly assumed (Smith, 2012).

Creating Your Own References:

  1. Login to your NoodleTools account
  2. Create a project or use a pre-existing project
  3. Click on the Sources tab.
  4. Click on the +Create New Citation Button.
  5. Click on the tab that best describes where you found the book.
  6. Select book from the menu.
  7. Enter information in the form that appears.
  8. Click on Submit when you are done.
