How do I use the ProQuest eBook Central ebooks as my eTextbook?

Answer

You will access it on the left pane of the course similar to all course etextbooks, once accessed you will see the options in blue to “Read Online” or “Full Download,” (7 day loan period).

We recommend selecting “Reading Online” to avoid having to check the book in and out each week.

The following playlist of videos will show you how to use the features of the ProQuest eBook Central eBooks. When you access an eBook you will automatically be logged into your personal Bookshelf (top right).

It is recommended that you save your eTexbook to the Bookshelf,  for easy access to your eTextbooks later by clicking on the Bookshelf feature when you revisit the database.

Your eTexbooks have notes and highlights features, too. the video below is a playlist and you can access an individual video by click on the Playlist dropdown arrow in the top left corner.

The second video shows how to use the reader in eBook Central from a Rasmussen perspective.
