Rasmussen students can connect with a tutor via our Tutoring Service.

The Tutoring Service offers three main areas of support: Live Help, Tutor Match, and the Writing Lab.  In addition to these three main areas of support, Academic Tools and Collaboration Tools are offered below.  

Main Support Areas:

Live Help

  • Professional tutors available to help in a variety of topics. Some, like algebra tutors, are available 24/7.

Tutor Match

  • Tutor Match is your connection to all Rasmussen tutors at any campus.  
  • Rasmussen student tutors are able to meet with students in any modality (face-to-face, online, or over the phone).
  • Select your topic and set up an online or face-to-face appointment with a Rasmussen tutor.

  • Get comments on your papers back within 24 hours.

Academic Tools:

Skill Surfer

  • Test preparation tests in a wide variety of areas (need help with NCLEX?)!
  • Career preparation help (need assistance with interviewing or your resumes?)
  • Computer software help (need help using Power Point?)


  • Use flash bulb to create, share, and use study aids like Flash Cards.
