I cannot find my login information for Lexis+. Help!

Answer

Students enrolled in the paralegal program have access to a premier legal database, Lexis+. This database is exclusively for the use of paralegal students.

Each student has a unique login to access the database. Students must self-register and set up an account in the first quarter of the paralegal program. Use your Rasmussen student email account ("smail") when registering for this tool.

To access Lexis account, you first need to self-register. Follow these steps:

  1. Go to lexisnexis.com/lawschool
  2. Click “Register for Lexis+” to create your Lexis access account.
  3. Enter the registration code: your code is located in your course under "Course Materials" under "Lexis+ Database Account Access" or ask your instructor.
  4. Complete the rest of the information using your Rasmussen student email account "smail" (name, smail, create an ID, and unique password).
  5. Sign into lexisnexis.com/lawschool using the ID & password you just created and start exploring.
