Q: Can I refer students to apply for tutoring positions and if so, how should I?

A: Yes!  Sharing this valuable opportunity with students is a great way to support students’ professional development and assist them in gaining work experience.  You can recommend a student for a tutoring position using the form here: https://rasmussen.libwizard.com/f/refer 

Applying for a Peer Tutor position is easy!  Peer Tutoring is part of the work study program at Rasmussen University.  Students can easily apply for a position by visiting the Work Study Guide and clicking on the "Apply Here" button as illustrated below.

Subject: Are you interested in a part-time job as a Rasmussen Tutor? 

Applications are currently being accepted for students in all programs!  The Rasmussen University Tutoring Program is certified through the College Reading and Learning Association, providing tutors with training and eventual Level 1, CRLA Certification. The pay rate is 16 dollars per hour and depending upon eligibility, tutors may work up to 29 hours per week. 

The positions are open to both campus-based students and online students with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher. Click on this link to fill out an application: http://guides.rasmussen.edu/WorkStudy. Once your application is received and if you are eligible for the program, the Learning Services Coordinator associated with your program will be in touch regarding next steps.
