By default, announcements will display for the last 30 days. To change the duration for which announcements are displayed, click on the Manage Announcements Module Settings gear icon in the upper right-hand corner of your Announcements block. This can be done on both your Rasmussen Home page and in the Announcement block on the Course Home page.
On the Configure Announcements Module page, click on the Show announcements for dropdown menu and select how long you want announcements displayed. Click Submit to save and proceed.
Please Note: The user controls this feature—faculty cannot control how long students have their announcements set to be displayed. However, if a faculty member sets a date restriction (aka “Display Until”), the announcement will no longer be viewable after that date restriction even if the student has a display range that has not expired.
